Salisbury are 17th in the Blue Square, having won 4 and lost 5 of their away league matches this season. Probably, with home advantage, they are favourites to win the replay but Farnborough are top of the Zamaretto Premier Division (is that the Southern League in disguise?), unbeaten with 27 points from 11 matches.

That is assuming that we still have a club and even with 500, I wouldn't expect the crowd to be above 1,800 unless there is a vocal backlash against the current board of directors.

We do still have a club? and a crowd of 1800 would still be decent, and i think there will be a vocal backlash against the board no matter what happens. End of the day the fans need to stick by the team, as the old saying goes, through thick and thin. There also 2 good reasons to as i see it: 1. The current side is probably the best the club as ever had and deserves support and 2. The fanbase cant afford to go down smaller than it already is, and despite people complaining about the board, the only way they can hear what they have got to say is by coming to the games :D

If the mud was below his knees there is possibly a chance of playing :D

I reckon it must be about 50/50. Depends how dry it stays in the morning and how late they leave the decision. Difficult one if they take in to account the distance the away fans have to travel.

Re: fa cup

FA Cup First Round
Saturday 7th Nov 2009

Pitch news
The pitch at the Crown Ground is bearing up well ahead of this afternoon's match against Salisbury City.

There has been some overnight rain in Accrington though the pitch drainage has coped well, there is no official pitch inspection planned at this stage and as long as there are no torrential downpours ahead of kick off the game will go ahead as planned at 3pm.

Remembrance
Saturday 7th Nov 2009

Minute silence and collection
Please note that there will be a minute silence ahead of this afternoon's game against Salisbury City, to mark the annual act of remembrance for those who have given their lives in the service of their country.

At this time the club also remembers those dear to the club who we have lost recently, particularly including former player Alex Hamilton who was with Accrington Stanley at the time of their demise in 1962 and sadly passed away this week. We also remember those who are no longer with us whom we still hold dear, with our long serving former secretary Phil Terry in our minds, who sadly passed away this time last year.

There will be a collection at this afternoon's game in aid of the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal and the club would ask all fans to support this very worthy cause.
