I am not going to be able to post on the bulletin board till much later in the afternoon (likely after 5pm). I am very much aware of all the interest - indeed I would be no different in your shoes.

There was no contact last night from oneil. Peter and I decided we had no choice but to wait till today. The timetables are now very tight. Even if cash is to get across to HMRC, the club is dependant upon their good will to drop the deadlines for tomorrow morning payment. As you know, in reality, a deadline of tomorrow morning means payment today, and as anyone who has dealt with money transfers knows, things can slip.

I appreciate and applaud all the posts on accy web. I dont regret for one minute being open and transparent and will continue today as well. I would ask that you please moderate your language, and avoid personal abuse. Its possible to express feelings without stooping to the level of behaviour shown by certain other people, and this forum is too important to risk it being shut down.

Finally, my intentions are TO KEEP FIGHTING. I know full well that putting more cash into the club may help certain shareholders, but frankly, the equity is worthless right now. the club owes so much debt, that an equity owner is powerless unless he can put up cash to pay off creditors. also, i subscribe to the view that the club is bigger than any single individual, so keeping it alive and afloat matter more than petty personal vendettas.

Again, I repeat, I will not be able to post until later this evening, so please do not thing silence is a lack of interest or a lack of progress. Its a new day, lets enter it hopeful and enthusiastic.
