I don't know if this has been mentioned but if we win our re-scheduled game against Macclesfield by 3 goals we will go above Morecambe into 10th position. :D

Come on fellas - every time we have started talking about play-offs in the past it has put the mockers on things. Remember, "softly, softly -catchee monkey".

From a Burton point of view,we were pretty awful, but all credit to Stanley, you deserved all 3 points.

A word about your support last night-brilliant.
Good humoured banter and you don't half make some noise, unlike our lot!

Cheers

I thought burtons forward line where poor, part of that was down to our good defending. They had a few half chances in the first 20mins and looked threatening from corners. Bouza was a bit late and dangerous with some of his clearances. 2nd half was alot better but not as good as previous games. The ref was poor, not one of the yellow cards for either team where deserved, main stand side linesman was also poor. Burton where naive and have alot to learn, but they should survive.

I agree with all that. The conditions were very difficult but we mastered them better than Burton did and our domination increased as the game progressed. I wholeheartedly agree with DAV007's comment about John Miles. In general, I feel that his contributions are often undervalued, but Tuesday night's pitch and conditions would have been ideal for him.

I think other people must be watching a different game to me.

Miles has offered next to NOTHING all season. He doesnt even look interested half the time, the ironic cheers from the Ultras when he got subbed in the Dagenhem game spoke volumes. We are a better side when he doesnt play.

When miles is on form though he can change games. With his runs into the box and crosses
