Re: Ticket News -V- Fulham!!

I think for FA cup games that if one team is from the premier league they get 40% of the gate the non premier league team get 50% and the F.A. 10% after the 2nd round. I,m sure I read this somewhere. I,d gladly pay 20 quid to watch the game on Saturday.

Does it really matter? It's the FA Cup 4th round? How often has and will it come to The Crown?

I'm going and I'm paying 4 times the price I normally do!

Come on Stanley!!!!!!

I think this will have a big impact on numbers attending, possibly 3500 to 4000 at normal prices now 2000 to 2500 (hope I am wrong)

Cant believe stanley are charging that. What a stupid thing to go and do. Should still be well attended I hope.

Yeah the 1200 die hards will pay it. But even some of these think it is a bit steep when they could of charged £15. So the add ons might just give it a miss (i hope not). Fulham took 150 to ewood last week and I believe thats pretty impresive for them so I hope with the travel costs etc they bring more than that. Great for Stanley to be in 4th round though.

Re: officially the most expensive game at stanley

I suppose the club have to maximise the take from Fulham's seemingly guaranteed 1200 supporters. Anyway, what the heck difference is the extra on our usual prices? A couple of quid for concessions, max of 7 quid for seniors? Bloody hell its less than a round of drinks for a fantastic occasion! The Crown should be bursting at the seams!

I can't remember how much i paid to see PNE at Peel Park all those years ago but I don't have the option of waiting for another 50 years to watch Stanley play the 'big boys'. £20 is steep, but it's not as steep as the £80 in petrol it's gonna cost me to get to and from the match. Scrape it together somehow, you'll remember this £20 worth for the rest of your life.

Fulham fans don't travel. They brought approximately 80 to the Rovers game admittedly that was on a Sunday but they didn't take many to Burnely either. Will that change for the FA Cup?

I was pointing out that it's not the FA that set the prices ;)

I'm sure all Stanley fans will pay it, but as has been pointed out Stanley rely on neutrals to boost the gate. My daughter is a Burnley season ticket holder but goes to nearly all Stanley home games using her own spending money. Her spending money normally covers her admission price, she has now been priced out for Saturday. I can understand the club wanting to capitalise on the game, not sure though that Fulham are big enough opposition to make people shell out that bit more. I hope I'm wrong.
