Getting Coley & Jimmy signed up is more important than any of the plsyers IMHO, lets just keep harping on about it as folk do read these ramblings....

Contract
John & Jimmy
Locked boardroom

personally i'd offer them both a directorship. Tie them to the club permanently and see if their ideas and enthusiasm can help in that direction as well.

I understand the sentiments Rob but football can be a very fickle game, one week your the best thing since sliced bread the next your as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

The contracts do need sorting a.s.a.p. with perhaps clauses built in about approaches from other Clubs.

I would think Coley & Jimmy would be just as keen to know as we fans are what are the Long Term aims of the Club in terms of maybe a five year plan for playing budgets, facilities, aims & objectives etc. that may be just as important to them as anything else?

Time maybe of the essence?

Bradford City Football Club • View topic - Who do the public actually want?

Coleman is proving quite popular.

I think the Dowie vote thing is a fix TBH. Coleman is more popular.

I wonder if we'll offer Stuarts wage to the next manager, reportedly £140K per annum?

Totally agree. All this "they'll never go to Bradford" stuff is just whistling in the dark. Sorry to post this link again, but people need to understand that if the assistant manager is saying things like this in public, the situation needs sorting urgently.

Accrington Stanley blog: We need to get new deal sorted (From Lancashire Telegraph)

As Willie says, folk do read these ramblings, so...

D'ON AND ROB, GET THOSE CONTRACTS SORTED...TODAY PLEASE!!

No point in asking us mate! Better be asking John Coleman. But he will say no to a club like you. He would rather stay at a better club that are higher up in the league!:):D:p

Re: We want your manager!

Illyas, if reading this, in my humble opinion, please take note.

Priorities......Get J.C. & J.B tied down on long term contracts. What they have done for Stanley in the last ten years under their tenure, should give them the freedom of the borough by now.

This season may, and probably will, prove pivotal in the fortunes of A.S.F.C.

Getting grants to improve facilities, do building work etc, etc, is all well and good.

In my opinion, financial constraints permitting, the only way to increase gates and thus increase available revenue, will be to continue to build upon what has already transpired. Lose any part of the current set up, be it prized and envied management or our prized and envied players, we risk tearing apart a Jigsaw that has taken a decade to put together.:o

Accrington went forty years without a league side. A Lost generation so to speak. The progress J.C. & J.B. have overseen beggars belief, the stuff of fairytales...

Inside the last decade, Bradford played in the prima donna league. Their fall from that so called land of milk and honey has been pretty rapid. I remember trips to places like Hyde......ala " call for the doctor !! "

Our first game back in the football league....

Chester away.

I am proud to say I was there. Look where Chester are now.....enough said.

Re: We want your manager!

havent read the whole thread so if this has been mentioned i apologise but realy it would be wise to get the management duo on contracts as they are like players now and if bradford did come in for them they would have to buy the contract our so why not stanley have nowt to loose and alot to gain in this respect
