It may be better just having a block of ~5 games together in a season where walk-ons are a fiver. Plan it for when there are a few home games in a row (or for when walk-ons are skint - after Chrimbo maybe?), improve the experience inside the ground should the team be experiencing one of their less spectacular runs; maybe we'll be able to keep a few afterwards.

Maccas suggestion of a fiver, is to get the ground full each match, therefore still making about the same amount of cash, but also giving the club more than twice as many chances to sell the extras!!! :)

The possible other problems with the five pound walk on prices are:

Fluctuations in attendances, one week overstaffed with Stewards next week not enough?

If it does not work at a fiver a pop and crowds have not increased significantly you have the potential to have really shot yourself in the foot:eek:

How much do you then charge away fans in a potentailly all new all singing all dancing stand?

I think Maccas Scheme could work alongside some kind of Membership Scheme for Home fans with potentially paying a sum up front for your membership thus the Club have a revenue pot in advance and then every game you attend you pay at a reduced rate thus ensuring the Club has an increased revenue stream on match days and a more even split of gate money through the Season.

Yeah I like that idea and it could work and give the Club & Fans the possibility of the best of both worlds?

That could be "gold membership" of the OSC maybe, with reduced admission on showing your OSC card? (We'd need to keep ordinary membership for exiles like me.) Or would we want to keep the OSC completely independant of the club?
