cheltenham_march_23.jpg :: Stanley Ultras March on Cheltenham Has to be my favourite. Looks totally over policed, or are northerners not allowed to walk down the streets with out a police escort?

Why was he a 'mummys boy', just because his family all follow Stanley & she was at the game - what was she supposed to do, stay & watch the game not knowing where her son was or what was happening - grow up!
Also, for your information, I don't know what you thought you saw but the lad couldn't have made any sort of gestures as that damned steward has his arms pinned behind his back.
To be fair, I came on here in full support of your fans and the sh*tty treatment they all got. YOU need to grow up - if a whole family goes and follows a team miles from home I think that's fantastic - I was there with my kid yesterday too. Obviously I now read the kid with his Mum wasn't the one who was arrested during the game. Fair enough - apologies for not knowing all your fans indivdually and who they came with .

Plus, I do know exactly what I saw thanks - the kid arrested during the game made gestures & spat in the direction of the home fans in that corner. You may have found that hard to see as you would have been looking at the back of his head - but whatever, that doesn't bother me in the slightest - none of it would have happened if any of the stewards had a brain cell between them.

As someone sat in the home end, I would happily back up any complaints any of you are going to make - The powers that be at Whaddon Rd need to hear comments from not just the away fans on how sh*t that all was..

I understand what you are saying but they would have been there for the protection of the same fans incase any idiots decided to kick off at them as well

Fair comment, I was still very angry this morning as the lad involved is my friend's son & we were all at the game together and so my post was probably a bit unfair.
It goes without saying that I totally agree with you about the stewards, it seemed they had made their minds up before we got there that there would be trouble & they were determined to be proved right.
Lastly, of course we would appreciate any backing for our complaints from the Cheltenham fans & thank you for the offer

OVER THE TOP - Thats what i would describe all the goings on, on saturday!! Cheltenham Football Club are a disgrace.

I was actually talking to the steward after the match and they said that they had been briefed before the game on that Accrington Stanley fans have no banning orders and hardly any arrests in the last ten years and the the police where called upon on the last hour.

Ive got a few snaps of things.

At least we wernt at the grimsby burton game, that looks manic!!!!
