Just looked on fleetwood fc site [dooohhh] yep they confirmed so :(

The running of club is peeing me off - no flipping news or owt coming from them at all - other clubs update their supporters, suppose no news soon of any replacements ... probably get that from the LET 1st:rolleyes:

Re: John Miles

Thought Milesey had signed up though, at least it was reported in the Observer that he had - can't blame him I suppose, he's good mates with Cav & at least he'll be guaranteed to get paid on time there - gutted :( Would be nice if the club told us these things first instead of being told second-hand

Re: John Miles

So we thought/were told that Milesy had signed and he has not, so apart from some kid of a keeper, some kid of a leftback and Craig Lindfield, who - apart from the 2 year deals - has signed????????

Re: John Miles

All about the money clearly!!!

Football League or Non League?

No footballer cares anymore, they dont care what level they play at, they just care about that little bit more cash they can have!!!

They`ll regret it when Fleetwood get in admin!!

If fleetwood dont go up this season then they`ll go bust! Players like Miles arnt the answer to them going up! Lazy Sod!

But thanks for some goals and the headaches and annoyance of you being lazy when we all knew you could be superb if you could be assed.

Ahhhh well, not a big loss :).

According to the fishy site in May only four players were on 2 years ;

Club Captain Andy Procter, defender Phil Edwards and midfielders Jimmy Ryan and Chris Turner have 12 months remaining on their current deals,

According to this article in the MEN ( which I assume was the Observer article ) JC said Miles had signed on.

Lindfield back at Stanley - Manchester Evening News

Spot on LD, only 4 on 2 year deals, but did think that Miles and a few others - Bavs, McConville, Joyce - had signed up!!!!
