Re: Tonight's game
From our Devon Source;
Good win for the Reds last night - Won 5-2 with goals from from Ray Putterill, Michael Dukes, Rory Boulding, Sean McConville and Andy Parkison. A lot of players were understandably rested from the Blackpool game, but we always looked in control. Ray Putterill put us one up early on, before a nicely worked equaliser from Bideford. Several more chances in the first half, but ended level at 1-1. Second half was much brighter and Michael Dukes & Rory Boulding combined well up front to add a couple of goals to make it 3-1 with about 20 minutes to go. A bit of a scramble in the Stanley penalty area led to Bideford pulling one back, which seemed to spur us on. Sean McConville came on as sub for Chris Turner and scored a well taken goal with his first touch of the game. In the last few minutes Andy Parkinson executed a perfect chip over the stranded keeper to make it 5-2 and wrap up the game. |

Only the top team in the group progresses, so tonights score is irrelevant.
