Peter Murphy's just "been replaced" after a bit of Accy Aggro... didn't look too bad to me, but the Southport players were not happy.

Full time
1-2 Stanley

Friends
Rory Boulding has a thigh injury - and Craig Lindfield is injured too - Coley says he'll definitely need another striker regardless.

The trialists remain a little unclear - I'll listen back to Coley and let you all know the details.

Short report is on the fishy

A tidy performance last night. Stanley played some lovely controlled passing football, Unlike Southport who are probably the most route one team i've ever seen.

The Stanley 1st goal was a real "youtube" moment, although i doubt it will ever get that opportunity. The defender who "smashed" the ball into the roof of his own net will never connect with a ball any better in the rest of his career.

After the 2nd goal Stanley really looked a confident outfit and following on from Saturday at Northwich i'm optimistic for the comming season.

Southport only really came into the game after Stanley had made 9 substitutions, all those that came on looked capable, it's just that so many changes upset the flow a little. Good win though. Nice tidy ground Haig Avenue as well.

Typical Dunbavin. Cross comes in, Dunbvin screams "KEEPERS" and then gets nowhere near it.

It's Dunbavin that should be getting a grip (with the ball)
