never! nowt worse than losing to a crap team in the middle of nowhere (on a tuesday) and then the other side getting a plum draw!

give me the big game every time please :alright:

Everton or Newcastle away on the telly, then let the Stanley fans show the rest of the country just how supporting should be done

Agree with Macca; lets have the "feel good factor" and money NOW!!!

Doubt we'll be on TV away, but would we want the "hassle" of a home "big" game?? Honesty don't know!!

Very personally we want a northern away tie; Everton or Newcastle please:) Lets give Schultz an easy night ( borrow their kit) and Coley and the boys chance to play in a massive full stadium!!

A big home game is the only realistic chance of the telly money.

A massive full statdium in the 2nd round of the Carling Cup. Only chance of that is if it's free admission :D

I'd settle to go to Newcastle in front of 50,000 freebies!!

Imagine the sponsorship + marketing opportunities!!!

I'd bet the Ultra's would outsing them, no problems!!

To put that in perspective £1 each admission would generate the same revenue as a full Crown Ground at a tenner each. Unreal

Oh I don't know, OK we are going to get the full house of 4,500 BUT the marketing potential will be fantastic. Personally, had we gone to St James Park, I doubt very much whether 35,000 would have gone through the gate and I doubt very much whether the away support would have been much more than 500. Playing the game at Accy means we have the potential to be on Sky sports and no doubt the commercial side are investing heavily as I type this reply. Win or lose the football match, I don't see how the club can lose monetary wise.:alright:

The only problem being the headache of organising such a match with a big club with a big following. No doubt Lancashire constabulary will have plenty to advise the club on.
