I bet your pitch isn't grass green to the roots though. What's your turf like? Don't tell me it's like Colchester or Plymouth's in the winter? We find it a struggle to play on allotments.

Fair enough. I watched the Chesterfield game the other night, there surface is lovely. But I suppose it should be as they've just got a new ground.

I'm so pleased you beat Doncaster. I hate that place, I definitely wouldn't of been going there. Accrington > Doncaster.

You'll like all our facilities, especially their functionality of purpose. You will certainly be delighted with the state-of-the-art air conditioned stand that you will get - even more so as it is usually combined with the overhead sprinkler system.

Is there time for 'The Contractors' to emulate the efforts made by Wembley Stadium SM ?..(from THE GUARDIAN)...

'At a cost of no less than £250,000 and probably closer to twice that amount the Football Association last month turned to a system that employs 20 million artificial fibres to support Wembley's natural grass, having previously relaid the surface an embarrassing 11 times '.

So the answer doesn't lie in the soil after all !!

Similar to what Burnley have just had done for £750,000,synthetic grass, that apparently still needs watering as they did at half time Sat.The pitch also came in for complaints and the contractors are back in at the Turf!!

so reading about various pitches, does that say that these contractors are as much use as tits on a fella? seems that way to me, if quite a few grounds aren't up to the mark, Wembley being a classic.

You can't really call the stadium "Turf" Moor any more then.

We normally use some very creative adjectives when it comes to describing Burnley.

Life is never easy FO !..

and remember..'If the grass is always greener on other team’s football pitches then you're not using enough fertilizer on your own…….'
