Probably a combination of flags and flares would be a risk

Re: Flags?

There should be a risk assessment done at the club about flags if there is a risk of fire.....

Have asked for it...

just read the telegraph article online, 21 have commented already, not all are stanley fans, NOT 1 in favour of this ridiculous ban. the club are shooting themselves in the foot n by the silence ( except fer M.S. dumb comment) are too thick to see it.

Re: Flags?

the story was printed in the Mirror and Daily Sport as well.

Apparently the club are none too happy at the ban, as it has been mentioned by visiting neutrals that one of the reasons they visit is to witness The Ultras in full flow.

Fans would understand IF the club has had it's hand forced AND they were open and honest enough to tell us that they disagreed with the ban.

If this is the case they need to let the fans know pronto as the silence so far is being interpreted as support for this ridiculous situation

Have read Lincoln Fans could not bring there fireproof flags in, would like the club to comment on the reason, if true that is even stupider.

I wonder, if at some point in the near future, the Ultra's were to bring into the Clayton End, a number of small, fire retardant and fully compliant banners, each plastered with one of the following letters:

O' ENIL MUST OG

or letters to that effect, if the club would then ban them?

Re: Flags?

At the Newcastle game, we were all given a piece of paper to hold aloft. Was this paper fire retardant?:(

Yeah, thats the reason I put this on. I normally don't believe in conspiracy theories, but there is something odd about this ban. It certainly does give the O'Neil regime opportunity to prempt any unfavourable demonstration against them.

in one breath you say they couldnt organise a pee up in a brewery in the next you think they are plotting to unsettle the ultras?
