Good point, all things considered. Just so dissapointing the amount of times we have led away from home only to be pegged back. The right back position seems to be a bit of a merry go round at the moment. Who next i wonder?

Re: Southend Thread

Southend's manager Paul Sturrock is a legend with me and many though not all Sheffield Wednesday fans.

Corr, Zaaboub and Coughlan were with him there. Albeit only Coughlan established himself there.

One of his favourite sayings was "Draws kill ye in in this league". Its as true of League 2 as when he said it of us in the leagues above.

If Stanley don't start picking up wins they will find this out to their cost.

at the start of the season the fullbacks sat in and therefore you dont conceed many, after 6 or 7 games they were incouraged to get forward more , hence score more but conceed more, results dont lie, although its unbelieveable the oppositions shots to goals ratio, normally 20 shots you conceed 1 goal, Acci are nearly 2 shots 1 goal !!!! i predict there luck must change

Well if doesnt we are in trouble . Only two points from the relegation zone :(

Re: Southend Thread

A point away from home before the game started would have been a good point given the sending off possibly now an even better point?

It's stops the rot of League defeats now we have something to build on with a home game next Saturday followed by a short trip over the border, six points is what must be looked for, then a FA Cup weekend followed by three straight home games.

Results breed confidence & confidence breeds results

The Climb up the Table starts now
