Super stuff a big three points today, two away wins on the spin after none the first part of the season.

Well done

A big game now against the Salop on Tuesday and a real chance to narrow the gap to a mere two points outside the play-off spots:)

On Stanley On

Can I just say, thanks a lot for ruining my prediction. But hey ho, I have a smile as wide as the pitch at the Crown. Absolutely magnificent result today. Looking forward to Tuesday night now, lets hope the pitch dries out.

Sounds like Leam's goal was from about the same spot as his last one was at the Crown. BTW, what's happened to his shirt that we Accy webbers sponsored?

Re: Cheltenham

A great all-round performance today. It would have been very difficult to pick out a Man of the Match. Every single player gave his all. It was never fluid football, but it was a great team effort. There's no doubt that Cheltenham are a good team but we nullified their threats. Whenever a Stanley player was making a challenge, he always had covering support from a colleague. Charlie Barnett was immense in this respect. Terry Gornell chased everything - even when the centre back had his arms round his waist. Why can referees not spot this? Goodness knows why the Cheltenham fans and officals were berating the referee - he gave as many dubious (or simply wrong) decisions in their favour as he did in Stanley's favour.

Great stuff. Well played Stanley.

Thought overall acci played the better football in very tricky conditions,They had to dig in the last 20 mins when they thro the kitchen sink at Acci, special mention for Proccy today who must have run a marathon.
May not have the silky skills as others but he doesnt go hiding when pressure is applied, top top game and a lot of his work goes un-noticed

Cheers, Dave - I had forgotten about the draw.
