In the second half Craneys goal, to the trained eye, was obviously a mis**** cross/ come shot / backpass which trickled into the net, Craneys fitness level is 110% at the moment after having an enforced break due to the transfer saga so really should be scoring hattricks every game , this is why Coley must have brought him off last night knowing that he is 110% per cent fit and still mediocre.

What else has this "trained eye" noticed, and please let us know who trains this eye then maybe we can all get "trained eyes"

Must admit I must have an untrained eye,as i watched the game i thought Craney looked a yard off the pace ( prob due to lack of games).
After watching the highlights, how wrong i was !,everything positive about the performance seemed to go thro him, therefore i issue a public apology for even thinking this.
As a side issue,a footballing friend who attended the game with me was impressed with the standard of footy played by Acci, and also was impressed with Sean Mac !!!

I thought it was an attempt at being sarcastic, a poor one though. You really have to be at your peak to compete with the experts on here :D

You probably need a "trained" brain

Great stuff!

I am sure that it is for Blackpool??? Hasn't Earnshaw scored Hatricks in all 4 Leagues?? Maybe wrong and I am sure that somebody will point it out if I am... :D :D :D

reread what he said 'Brett being the first player to score for the same club in each of the top four divisions.' That club that he mentions may well be Blackpool you know :D

I have re-read it Sparkie :) I still understand it the same, somebody else has scored for the same club, in all four leagues... :) :) :) Brett has done it for Blackpool!

i dont think anyone else has scored for the same club in each of the four divisions. How many clubs have played in all four divisions in a relatively short time span? Wimbledon on the way up, Bradford on the way down .... any more?

Swansea in the '70s, perhaps

Perhaps more than a side issue. This is something that happens a lot. Speaking to a Wycombe fan after the game on Sat, he was impressed with Craney for his ability to drift away from his marker in dangerous positions. I remember a Mansfield fan raving about John Miles after we had beaten them in the league a few years ago - poor workrate, sure, but he hadn't given the ball away all afternoon.

This is easier said than done, but familiarity with a player's shortcomings ought not to leave us unappreciative of the qualities they do have, even if you think they don't remind us of those qualities often enough.

Phil, thats agreat post and agree 100%. John Miles work ethnic left a lot to be desired, but when he had the ball you always felt he could create something, this may upset a few people, but thats the sign of a quality player and JC was probably aware of this.
