I'm sure Coley won't see it this way immediately but tonight we earned a very good and probably very valuable point away from home. Crewe have been as mega at home as we have over the past few weeks.

Hope Gornell is OK & isn't kept out for too long.

Well done Reds.

Coley thoughts to come but just to let you know that Terry's injury is a gash below the knee. He has had 6 stitches and will be assessed over the next few days for Saturdays game.

Good news on Gornell, it looked bad as he went down and stayed down... thought the worst when he went off.

Couldn't believe it when the ref played on after McConville's goal. It looked well over from where we were. Sean had a great first half, by the way, really getting stuck in too, which I haven't seen from him before. Yet again we don't hit the target from great positions - very frustrating, but still a good performance.:)

Do you mean spelling 'have' with an 'o' and an 'f'?

And, as well as not knowing that it's a goal when the ball crosses the line, the liner on the far side wasn't up to scratch with the offside rule, either.

Best 0 - 0 game i have seen for a long time. Both teams trying to get the ball down and play on the deck.
Acci should have taken all 3 points, they had numerous clear cut chances,Gornell, sean, jimmy, craney, and jacobson all should have scored.
Positives, another sound defensive display, goalkeeper was again first class when called on and some of the passing was prem class.
Thought Joyce worked hard again and links the team well.
Negatives, thought Craney and Jimmy were a bit hit and miss tonight, maybe fatigue is now catching up with one or two,but then again 0 - 0 is an improvement on last seasons 5 -1 defeat

Massively 1 sided, score should have been about 6-1 with all the chances.

Cisak yet again looked solid, his 1 on 1 save was class.

Other than that the defence never looked troubled to me.

Fingers crossed Terry will be back on Saturday, as we are very short of quality up front on the bench.

Only down side for me unfortunately was Craney who quite frankly had a shocker, especially in the 1st 45 mins.

BUT its another point gained, and fingers crossed we can take all 3 on Saturday

From a crewe fan

"As I have already said, Accrington proved last night that they have a good chance of making the play-offs. Fitter, quicker to the ball than the Alex, playing with confidence and eager to shoot on sight and with 6 of their final 10 games at the Crown Ground, they must fancy their chances. What a difference a year makes, when you consider the thrashing we gave them 11 months ago. How they have progressed in that time, whereas it certainly looks as if we are now on the decline once again"

WE ARE GOING UP... I BELIEVE. DO YOU???

a few Crewe fans on the messageboards reckoned it was justice as McConville handballed when he controlled it, you cant tell off the footage though.
