Re: Hereford Thread
At least the kit won't need washing, they didn't even break sweat :)
At 4-0 up somebody told them to 'get a grip', good to know all clubs have their own 'village idiot' :D |
Re: Hereford Thread
So the Stanley steamroller rumbles on. Hereford came for the draw with just big Jason Price up front, but when we turned on the afterburners they just couldn't handle the pressure. When you have Joyce, Proccy and Jimmy crashing through tackle after tackle in midfield the openings just keep on coming. Gornell was immense and was just one of any number of possible MOM candidates. Hereford gave it a go in the second half but our defence picked 'em up where it matters and they hardly had a sniff at Cisak's goal, apart from drawing one superb save from him, tipping a low drive round the post. Great goal from Sean, making up for his earlier miss!:D

Kick off time nowt to do with it.... I was alluding to the fact you said you should have guessed gate at 6pm (1800 hours), yet the actual gate was 1632 (just after half four!) Yes, I know, it's a very tenuous connection! Think we need to meet up in bar before next game & try to attune each others SOH..(that's Sense Of Humour!) Cheers Gerard |
Re: Hereford Thread
First 45 mins were electric, Hereford to there credit, gave it a good go second half, heads never dropped, even after freak 4 th goal, they tried to play football, great credit to all 14 players used, now fer sat.:D;)
|
Re: Hereford Thread
I'm one happy chappy or should be Stanley-happy what a cracking 1st half, thrilling stuff, love to see Sean mc's goal again that was amazing :D
Was made up with the 3 goals which made it 3 goals per 3 home games, but why not add another one for sweetness :) I'm believing:D |

Re: Hereford Thread
Am I the only one disappointed by tonights game, after all we only won 4-0 and I guessed 5-0 for the prediction league, bummer. Seriously though, what a game, thoroughly enjoyable to watch and once the team found their rhythm in the first half, they were unplayable. 3 cracking goals followed by a cheeky goal in the second, but then the team went to sleep and sat back and allowed the Bulls to attack more, granted though, they were not dangerous at all (apart from the one save Alex Cisak had to make).
More of the same on Saturday please and Tuesday next week as well and I reckon win both of those and we will be sitting pretty in the play offs. However, on a cautious note, could JC be manager of the month for March? |
Re: Hereford Thread
Cracking game tonight, we were all over them first half, but took our foot off the gas after the 4th went in. Hereford did make a fist of it in the 2nd half but imho they didn't really trouble us apart from one decent effort that Cisac superbly pushed round the post.
I'm starting to believe! |

anyone know dates for play off games..............call me presumptious but got a holiday to book

With two wonderful daughters & four superb grandkids to show for it! On, Stanley, on!! |
