That thread just reminded me off how generous all you OUFC fans have been, to the help a little girl have a trip of the lifetime. Thank you it has made my day, being reminded of how you Southerners have so charitable. All the best for the rest of the season. Tom |
Re: All ticket
[quote=carpon;898015]Tried that earlier and the website / online ticket office didn't seem to allow me to change it from "collect" tickets rather than deliver:confused::confused:.....So i've bought the tickets to collect on Saturday.....which brings me neatly on to......
Hi, We have a built in mailing cut off date that we programme into the system for each match, this acts as a fail safe option so that tickets purchased upto an hour before the game are not then sent for dispatch. For the up and coming games, we are obviously experiencing higher demand so we have closed up the mailing cut off date so that is why it does not give you an "option". However, all tickets purchased up to midnight tonight online will be posted out and people should be receiving their tickets in the post today and up until Friday morning, so that people should not have to queue too long on Saturday for their tickets. It is as they say under control and I'm doing my very best to ensure the best possible service. As always, any questions please drop me a line. |
Re: All ticket
Lew,
Please can you confirm? My understanding is that I can decide if I'm coming to a match on the Saturday morning and then buy tickets online for collection pre-match. Am I right? Thanks. |

Stanley v Oxford United
Tuesday 12th Apr 2011 Ticketing information http://www.accringtonstanley.co.uk/g...league%202.gifFollowing a review ahead of our match against Oxford United on Saturday afternoon supporters will now be able to pay at the turnstiles and the match will not be a designated all ticket game. We do however recommend supporters arrive early as a big crowd is expected, and the club still advises that advance tickets are purchased were possible in order to help the day to run as smoothly as possible. Please also remember to keep hold of your ticket stubs as these may be used in the allocation of tickets for any matches that are to be played at the end of the regular season. Re: All ticket
I've posted that link on the Oxford boards so hopefully a few more Northern based Oxford fans will now be there.

Good news

Re: All ticket
good news indeed and I think that now I will be there, as I wasn't going up to the ground before hand to get a ticket. I wonder if any damage has already been done though in terms of word of mouth (the usual advertising medium) getting around?

Re: All ticket
Pre printed tickets will be on the turnstiles, to ensure fans get a stub for future use.
Loads have been pre sold, so we need to keep a watchful eye on numbers in order to satisify that great god " H & S":) Also we don't want torun out of beer and pies!! We believe, do you??:) |

Re: All ticket
A bit off common sense by the Club, though I do believe the Bradford game should be all ticket, but then again I don't see them bringing large numbers after the season they've had maybe 800-1000 tops.
I'm sure if a large crowd is expected for the Barnet game there fans will be put in the Whinney Hill corner and the Coppice opened up for walk on fans:confused: Just a note to Mr T regarding health and safety, I would advise to put a steward or two at the top of both of the yellow gangways in the middle of the Clayton End standing and keep them clear through the match as the people who stand there can't understand why everybody is pushing past them at half time and by the reaction of the bloke at the Southend game you'd have thought I punched him in the ribs and pushed him out the way when I actually said 'Excuse me, can I get through please'. |
