Re: new stadium ideas
Itll never happen but Id like to see a new ground slap bang in the town centre like where netto is. It would generate more money for shops and pubs aswel.

Re: new stadium ideas
Exactly where the new Tesco is? Rail links, bus links, short distance off the motorway.

All that is needed at the Crown is a redevelopment of the Whinney Hill to incorporate corporate/sponsors lounge, changing rooms and food/retail outlets under the stand - Oh and a roof for the away spectators - Cost £4 million, keep many of the punters already going to watch Accy very happy and would still be a soulful place - Oh yes, one other thing, remove the seats from the Clayton end! Now that would make a lot of spectators happy |

The other thing is that any offices, or corporate sponsorship, or even a coach dropping off away players, will all expect car parking to be right outside the door. The Whinney Hill side will never have that |

Who was here first?????? :hidewall: Gonna try a different Idea on the design front, to be honest the that first Idea was a generic design that can be applied to any lower league club. Gonna have a crack at what the Crown would look like with two sides redeveloped, seats removed from Clayton End etc.;) |

Re: new stadium ideas
I think the issue would be with Livingston Rd, rather than Whinney Hill estate. I think it might be the Church site or Huncoat Power Station.

Re: new stadium ideas
Rumours about Accrington Tesco not working out that well and may shut down. Now that would be perfect?
