Could anyone get any volume from fishy's pre-season interview with JC ? - far too soft for me to make out what was being said.

LLS - I'm aware of one or two audio problems with this morning's effort - I can only apologise. This is a new camera and it's the first time I've used it. I will endeavour to make it a little clearer in future. JC does speak quietly though!

This whole video thing is new(ish) for us all and hopefully as we go on the quality etc. will improve. As Dave alludes to, today was slightly flying by the seat of the pants stuff!

Try the Danny Coid one and see if it's any better.

Again, apologies and hopefully improvements will be made!

I always find with Coley interviews your best sticking the headphones in and having the Jan Molby book of scouse at hand

francis jeffers would be the best finisher in league 2 if he signed

Just on Jeffers, Coley was very clear this morning that he's not on trial or anything like that and is simply maintaining his fitness by training with Stanley as he looks for a new club. They've known each other for quite a while and it's basically mates helping each other out I think.

On the general point of trialists there are a couple of lads from Burnley as discussed earlier, a couple of last year's youth teamers who've been offered the chance to try and impress and one or two others as yet unidentified (by me at least!)

Hopefully all will become clear come pre-season friendlies time!

May be a 6month contract would suit both parties:) No great out lay in wages and we all benifit francis gets his fitness back while shooting stanley to the top of the league;)

FJ might be a mate of John & Jimmy's but I reckon he would be too much of a risk for the sort of team they build.

...until he realises that he would be best off at Stanley and he becomes the 20 goal-a-season striker we've craved for years. Excellent plan Sir John of Kirkby!
