Accrington Web - Sean Mc

The minute Sean launched himself into that tackle I said to those sat around me he isn't getting up from that one his leg was at full stretch and he was obviously hurt before he hit the ground raising his arm has he came down, wish him all the best not nice to see any player stretchered off a football pitch..

Got to be honest Andy, did not see as much as you from The Clayton End, but agree, it looked very bad immediately :(

Even though Sean had been childish - or whatever you want to call it - again with his goal celebration, even the Harrogate fans applauded him off (well done to them!)

Would be good if the club issued a statement tomorrow / soon as, letting supporters know the extent of his injury and that he's OK and all is well.

Just read it on X (Twitter) a real shame, as he had said in earlier interview, that he would have to contribute more goals in his new role and he had bagged a couple recently :)
