Rotherham thread

Match preview here: ASFC News Story > 4295 Good work Jewell!

Dunbavin
Murphy Hessey Long Winnard
Joyce Procter
Lindfield Craney Fletcher
Amond

That'd be my preferred line-up. However, realistically I think Murdoch will be in goal and McIntyre will play. Not impressed with the latter at all. Think Coid will come on from the bench at some point.

2-1 Accy.
Fletcher & Amond.
(Wes Paddy, Paddy Wes)

Is putting bavs in a wind up?

Murdoch has been brilliant!

Re: Rotherham thread

I would go one step further, and say hes better than Cisak.
Both commanding keepers with a good kicking game, but Murdoch is a better shot stopper

For the first time ever football19 I probably agree.

Re: Rotherham thread

Just think Bavs deserves a league game is all. Would keep Murdoch on his toes. Also with the way our luck with penalties is going I'd rather Bavs face them personally.

Re: Rotherham thread

Bavs is the number 2, simple.

You dont pick someone out of sympathy.

Bavs will play in the JPT to keep his sharpness, if he has a blinder and Murdoch a stinker then Coley will consider it ive no doubt.

But for now Murdoch is unquestionably the number 1!

Penalties should not be saved by any class of keeper, the fact some are- is more down to good fortune than owt else imho.

back to the match tonight,i think it maybe an unchanged team from saturday, but i personally would have moved proccy back instead of murph, and brought craney in

What is " Fully Fit" is he recovering from a long term injury and not quite there yet. does it mean not yet achieved full fitness after the close season if so why. Or is he now at a stage in his playing career that he cant play 90 mins. Just seems a funny statement to put out.

Re: Rotherham thread

Surely if your not 100% fit,its better starting the game and get match fitness, even if you only last 60 minutes.
Training is no substitute for match time

We don't have a good enough team to carry passengers. Our results are usually borne out sheer hard work and persistence and we can I'll afford to carry passengers. If he ain't fit then pack him off to fat club until he is fit.

Having said that he'd walk (rather than run?) back into my team when he is fully fit.
