Surprised Burnley didnt have a look at him. Easily championship material. Could go all the way to the top.

Re: Scunthorpe Manager on Jimmy Ryan

There won't be a sell on clause as he wasn't bought from us whilst under contract. He signed for Scunny in the close season whilst out of contract but under a contract offer from us, therefore due to his age, commanding either an agreed compensation fee or tribunal fee.

Same applies for any of the players who were under the age of 23 that received an offer off us but chose to go elsewhere (Cisak, McConville etc.)

Re: Scunthorpe Manager on Jimmy Ryan

If that's the case then it's an unusual case, normally the clubs don't get sell on clauses in these kind of (out of contract) deals. Was this one set by tribunal or did the clubs meet an agreement do you know?

Tribunal sets Ryan fee

http://www.accringtonstanley.co.uk/g...mmy%20ryan.jpgAccrington Stanley will receive £55 000 immediately from Scunthorpe for JIMMY RYAN, with the potential transfer fee rising to £170 000 after add ons.
A tribunal in Manchester this morning set the fee after Ryan moved from the Crown Ground to Glanford Park in the summer.
