as with most transfers I'd expect they paid some up front and then a bit here and there over the next few months. Let's offer to take him off their hands and waive the rest of the fee.

They'd then have paid summat to loan him for a few weeks and we can all revert back to happier days.

The world's greatest man manager is at it again :)

Graham Westley texts eight players not to turn up for Preston training | Mail Online

Re: Graham Westley

I was going to suggest he's turning PNE in to a laughing stock, but he achieved that months ago. The man is an ego maniac and has split the PNE support completely in two. North End fans are either 100% behind him or 100% want him out.

First week of pre-season training and already Richard Wright (keeper from Ipswich) has walked out. The official story is that he couldn't settle in the North West. Odd that, he spent 3 seasons at Everton!!

The man is a buffoon, and the sooner he is back down south the better.

What an absolute joke that man is and what a way to treat professional footballers, let alone human beings.

The ONLY thing that would ever stop me supporting Stanley would be if he was manager.

Re: Graham Westley

A good entertaining thread this.. Much ridicule of Westley & I suppose he has brought it on himself. However, HIS teams performance against Swindon on Sunday was one of the best since the Billy Davies days. A Swindon team, that I hasten to add, alledgedly played like Barcelona v Stoke City & were made to look ordinary at best by Westleys PNE team. I know one Swallow doesnt make a summer & all that but he has delivered to us a committed squad that want to play for the shirt & play the right way (Not hoofball). This is something we havent had for years & things are looking up. He is even managing Andy Procter right & giving him cameo appearances to boost his confidence. Many doubter are now just beginning to nibble at the crust of humble pie.

How are George Miller & Luke Clarke performing for you?

Good luck for the season

cashman 04-09-2012 12:29

Re: Graham Westley

Young Miller doing very well ta, seems to be establishing himself well, reckon he will advance to n higher level given time, aint seen much of Clark yet.:)

Re: Graham Westley

Miller is a very good player who will do well for you & a very astute signing. Good to see he is settling in well. Wouldnt be surprised if he advanced as you say. Hopefully you can cash in on him some day soon
