Re: Coleman
Dont get me wrong, I really want Coley to stay, however I suspect that today's result COULD push the Dale board to renew their efforts to resurrect the deal and up the offer to JC.........let's hope not.

Re: Coleman
Perhaps the word 'offer' was the wrong choice cashy, but the general point remains valid.

Re: Coleman
Sorry to bring bad news to you guys, but it IS looking that Coleman will be announced as Dale manager early next week. Skybet have even shortened Colemans odds on getting the Dale job to 1/4 odds on today. As for Dale getting in trouble with the league, I would question your chairmans honesty, as a compensation deal of around £70K has been agreed.

Re: Coleman
BBC Manchester interview with Chris Beech saw the reporter ask him what he would do should Coleman arrive if rumours are to be believed. Beech didn't sound best pleased even being asked the question!

Re: Coleman
I wont believe it mate till he actually signs on that dotted line im afraid.

Re: Coleman
I'm not believing that we would accept £70,000 for Coleman's three-and-a-half-year contract. It simply doesn't equate.
I wouldn't begrudge him a move to a club with ambition to match his own and the means to carry out that ambition, but a move to a club like Rochdale would be a grave injustice to his talent and potential. It's up to him to do what's right for his own career and I would find it impossible to hold anything against him wherever he went, but I can't see this particular move happening. He's better than Accrington, but he's also better than Rochdale, with all due respect. |
Re: Coleman
70k?!?
Really cant see it to be honest either. Coley has said he wants to get us in League One. Simple. |
Re: Coleman
I think it's an ominous sign that there is no interview by Dan with Coley post Aldershot as usual. Has he finally got peed off with penny-pinching, with the last straw possibly being the failure to get Hughes signed up, so far. Who could blame him?

Signs could be looking ominous :(
