Early days for Paul cook at Stanley, but found this article interesting

- Irish eyes not smiling on Unsworth

It would seem David Unsworth applied for the Stanley job. In hind sight most North End fans wish he'd got the nod at Deepdale. Westley is turning PNE into the most boring team in England.

Re: The early Swindon match thread ............

We weren't there today obviously but on each occasion we have witnessed Toto's efforts, culminating in the Plymouth 'mare, the following has been patently obvious to us:

1. He's far too casual. He takes an age to make a decision and by the time he has done it's too late.

2. For a centre-half he seems to show an extraordinary lack of urgency..

3. And this is the clincher - the eyes of his team-mates tell you how little confidence they have in him, and ultimately they lose confidence in themselves and each other.

I realise this may sound like scapegoating, and I'm an 'encourager ' by nature and not a beefer, and as the chap who spoke to me last week suggested the our pitch may not be what he's used to and everyone's entitled to an off day. But this isn't just ONE off.
day. I was aghast to see his name in the line-up today. The euphoria we felt at half time v the Gills has been replaced by real anxiety.

Let's hope next week we can start putting things right.

I am not surprised he was in the frame - I thought Unsworth would have done a good job.
