I probably overeacted after the Crewe result about Mr Cooks abilities when compared to JC. and to be fair both Cashy and some of the others responses about my post made me think I was a tad too tough on PC.

Unfortunately, looking at the fixture list, I'm struggling to see where the next point is coming from?

Maybe the changes have been carried out too fast, you just don't know.We were on the edge of the play-offs and one of the form teams,so it was a nice platform to build on.
Cook knows his football, but does he know league 2,only time will tell.
His attacking policy hasn't worked yet, indeed, watching Ajax youngsters today, they played 4-2-3-1,coleys old system, which made us hard to beat.

Aparently young Nicholls had a great game between the sticks.

Well done :)

I've just checked the Football League rules and they definitely say that a maximum of five loan players can be named in the players listed on a team sheet for any individual match. Unless something has happened that I don't know about we played six today so could be in trouble. Wouldn't think they can take any points off us though.

I've got a feeling a player isn't a player unless he actually plays :D:D

Fair enough. Just not sure the league will see it that way!

Season loan international loans don't count I am told :/

Re: The early Swindon match thread ............

That's good news if it's correct. I can't see anything about international loans in the Football league Rules but the penalty appears to be three points whether a team gets them in the match or not and just at the minute I'd prefer to hold on to what we've got.

Re: The early Swindon match thread ............

From the football league show it looked like two defensive mistakes, from Winnard and Toto :(

Young Nicholls looked like he had a great game though. :)

Murphy and Liddle aparently where excellent in the second half at center back together.
Hopefully Cooky sees this and plays them together there on Saturday. Murphy for me has always been a center back, he was a youngster and should still play there now.

Work to do !!
