:D Got it in one macca!! The 7 seem to be the backbone of the team with additions ie loanies added if and when theres a injury or a surspention. Think what im trying to say is from 18 games played we've won4 drawn 4 lost 10 using the in the main the same 7. how long does a team take to gel;)

Hell, don't apologise Mab. I'm all for healthy debate. It's been going a bit too quiet on here recently anyway.

Your wish is my command...
Stanley: Belford, Hunt, Winnard, Murphy, Molyneux, Lindfield (Liddle 90), Joyce, Miller, Boco (Hatfield 90), Beattie, Amond (Carver 84)
Subs not used: Dawber, Barnett, Dixon, Mingoia

Sky Sports App is saying Sean Murdoch Accrington Stanley to Hibernian until the end of the season - think they have ballsed up, cos he was on 6 month deal there and must have extended his deal.

I see Fleetwood's new, costly striker has scored already. They must have brought in about 6 in this window. Is it fair??

Dunno, but are there not financial fair play rules in our div, related to turnover?

Cynic!

maccawozzagod 26-01-2013 16:10

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad

nah, not at all cynical ... it is actually what they do!

The owner rents all of the office space in the new stand for his company. If he wants to cleanly put more money in (in order to up the turnover rather than donations) he charges himself higher rent.

All allegedly of course

Any of these will do

Transfer List - The PFA

I think our squad is just about good enough to stay up, but its not so much the squad thats the problem.
Its the manager, and no one who works for the club has the vision to see we have been sleep walking into the conference.

To be honest I reckon Carver could do a better job than any of those. You have to ask if they are any good why are they out of contract :)

That surely goes for beattie too. Not with us for the prestige, glamour or wages. Its Cos he is not good enough for anyone else.

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad

IMHO I think the problem of not scoring is our midfield not being quick enough when in possesion at releasing the ball forward quickly orrunning forward with it into space thus pulling defenders out of position whole too often Beattie has 2 marking him because of the inability of the midfield to react fast enough also we lack any decent pace down the flanks to get behind defenders.
