cashy hope your'e enjoying many brews in yer new mug but don't think it would be out of the question with Brett, don't need the money and end his career as a bona fide legend with 20 goals under his belt and we get promoted....food for thought:)

The Blackpool Gazette today confirms that Brett is talking to us, and quotes Leam - " a former Pool player and a long-time pal of Ormerod's" - as saying;

“I’ve spoken to Brett a couple of times. We’ve both been on holiday but I’ll meet him again for a chat this week. I think there will always be interest from Brett because he loves the club and wants us to do well.

I think he said in an interview once that he would like to finish his career at Accrington, so we’ll have to see if that is still the case. It would be really nice if he did.”

There was a lot of talk about him working with Andy Morrell at Wrexham and there's picture on Twitter of Brett's car at the Wrexham training ground this morning. Might mean nothing. Who knows?

I wonder if we were ever in with a shot of signing him?

Oh i agree, end of the day though "Blue Square" so dissolves any thoughts of affection fer Stanley in my book.;)
