To me if Leam can bring in James Beattie what does that say as to his influence, connections and respect amongst football per se. Would totally surpass the Brett connections and be a huge shot in the arm to Stanley and elevate Leam to a different culture to that we previously had

Would be a fantastic signing.

Hopefully we can offload some of the loan players which have failed to make a decent impression.....Sampson etc then maybe just maybe we could get him!

Sorry but I have to get this off my chest.

The word is marque (pronounced mark) not marquee.

A marquee is a big tent or awning.

Marque means "Brand" as in the best quality you can buy.

Look the two words up in good dictionary. Nowhere is "marquee" defined as meaning anything other than a tent-like structure.

Even the papers get it wrong and it hacks me off!
