Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke, PNE fans must be relieved - good riddance Westley but no doubt he'll pop up somewhere else soon to weave his own particular brand of magic - as long as he never comes anywhere near Stanley I don't really care where he goes. I am in the minority here !!!,he was brought in by Ridsdale to get rid of the high earners and half the budget,what did the Preston fans expect?.Granted,the replacement players have under performed,but you only get what you pay for,although some are good players.
I have heard stories about him,which in don't agree with,but you can't argue that with his desire to be successful,indeed,when he needed additional players,and Preston had no money,he personally financed them.
How many other managers have done that?.
Preston managers job is a poisoned challis,just look at recent history,big club,big expectations but no money.
Westley is a very wealthy man from interests outside football, so his desire to be successful is not money driven,maybe ego,but definitely not money.
He will surface somewhere and be successful,I am sure of that.
