1000 Season Tickets.

This season, we have set ourselves the task of selling 1000 season tickets for the first time – we want to create history.

At the recent launch event, we signed up the first 28 (only 972 to go…) and in the first week we have sold 84 :)

We have had a couple of teething problems, but thanks to our Technical Team, we appear to be firing on all cylinders – please let me/us know if there are any issues :)

Season Tickets 2014/2015 - Accrington Stanley FC

Also, do not forget the first 300 people to sign up will receive a free ticket for the A.F.C. Wimbledon game :)

I will update this thread regularly with how we are doing – soon be there ;)

Any news on the flexi ticket?
I have cash to buy!

Re: S t 1000

From what i understood davo, the flexi tickets will be sorted sometime after the season ticket. The idea is to promote the cheap season tickets first, common sense really.;)

Re: S t 1000

I don't want to spend 200 quid on a season ticket and take up a space when I will only get to a Max of 10 games.

Flexi ticket was a great idea and I'm pleased they will be offering it again.

There was for the Previous seasons Dave!! I think its the first month after the Season ticket is launched that existing season ticket holders are given first chance of renewing there ticket along with there seat:)

Have we really got 7 rows of seats anywhere? Or do they start at F for front?

Nope until we sell out!!

With 1600+ available for ASFC fans, when we get to the 1000 target we'll be fine.:)

So if you had a seat last season and want to keep the same seat next season, you have to hope nobody has taken it ?

Don't think anybody would dare take someone else's seat, unless they're a newbie - most regulars know who sits where & woe-betide anyone who plonks their posterior on the wrong seat ;)

Thats it Di,seeing the clubs aiming high fer sales, it could easily be a newbie.;)

Mr T 16-04-2014 16:12

Re: S t 1000

As of yet nobody no "newbie" has requested a seat, bar one.

As and when they do we don't allocate a seat that is already "taken". Likewise if somebody wants to swop seats, we check first it's available.

Given that around 50% of our season ticket holders stand, I really don't expect too many issues.

Be a nice probelm IF I'm wrong:)

I am a bit sad in that I like figures and targets it gives you something to aspire to.

How many did we sell last season Joe?

It would be great to have more to the hardcore Stanley Family on Home games and can only wish the Club well in achieving it's Target.

A sensible idea would be to have a date set for season ticket holders to retain their seat, NOT wait n see if any crap happens!!! like most clubs i know do, it only takes 1 to lose his seat n the sh1t could hit the fan, causing negatives fer the club, Wake up n smell the coffee.

Am I missing something??

As I don't think there's a problem:confused:

We have approx 500 season tickets holders with around 150 choosing to stand.

There 350 choosing to sitdown. We've around 1400 seats available to sell. Take out those 350 current ST holders still leaves over 1000 seats to sell.

If somebody new arrives, we can either suggest an "spare" sit or recommend they choose a seat that isn't a current ST holders and to me "solution"??

The point being missed mab, is the fact that people can be very picky about seating, clubs wi far more experience in the league have sorted that potential problem out many years ago, it costs sod all n is simple to do it, yet all yeh seem to get is resistance to any idea mooted. I could understand it more,if it cost money.

Due to all that is going on with shirt launches, voucher and egg promotions etc, could we ask the FANtastic supporters to be ready to pass their information in to the shop for processing early next week.
Really important we get things right and all information received is processed safely and securely.

Fully apprecate the fans out of town can only get down on a match day but given all the hard work done this week we expect tomorrow to be busy!! :)

Come on, let's try to help get us up this league!

With due acknowledgement to "Shrimpy" on Morecambe's forum:_
"I don't think our wage budget would be anywhere near £1.8m. That's more likely to be the wages of the entire company, not just the playing side.

This was put together on the League 2 forum, it's probably not completely accurate but won't be far off. The likes of Northampton and Bury will likely have shot up after then due to mid season spending.

1. Fleetwood Town £2.1m
2. Chesterfield £1.5m
= Southend United £1.5m
= Bristol Rovers £1.5m
5. Mansfield Town £1.4m
= Plymouth Argyle £1.4m
= Newport County £1.4m
8. Hartlepool United £1.3m
= Oxford United £1.3m
= Northampton Town £1.3m
= Portsmouth £1.3m*
= Scunthorpe United £1.3m
= Wycombe Wanderers £1.3m
14. York City £1.25m
15. Cheltenham Town £1.2m
16. Burton Albion £1.1m
= Rochdale £1.1m
= Torquay United £1.1m
19. AFC Wimbledon £1.07m
20. Bury £900,000+
21. Dagenham and Redbridge £800,000
= Exeter City £800,000
= Morecambe £800,000
24. Accrington Stanley £500,000"

From what I know, the ticket office will have a list for collection before the game. Pointless trying to post them out now as Royal Mail seem to think 1st class is a 'we deliver when we want' service

Some supporters have had their AFC Wimbledon ticket posted, others received theirs when recently purchasing their season ticket. The remaining tickets can be picked up from the ticket office on Saturday.
Remember, fans only have until Wednesday (April 30th) to claim the first early bird price and just the first 300 can claim a free ticket for Saturday's match.

Jolly Good Show by everyone who has stumped up and showed their support for the Reds

Important the message that even though the price has risen it can still be paid for in two instalments is still out there as it may just nudge one or two more in the right direction.

Probably not, but the good news is that I've bought you one DAVO.

Let me know your address and I'll post it. :D

It's a lot easier to do that after you have played Rangers 3 times in the previous season in cup games that were shown on TV. That plus the fact that Clifton hill is about half the size of the storefirst means that they will still be financially sound even if evryone just paid the tenner.

In answer Cashy, 678. We had a couple of seasons were we gave discounts, freebies and tickets for adults from £140.00.

Needless to say, we did not do ourselves any favours.......

We need the 1000 hardcore to by a ticket (to use your words Cashy... simples ;) )

Almost half way there, we will do it.

:) :) :)

Newbie here... Sorted season tickets out for me and 11yr old son this week before the May early bird offer ended. Moved up here a few years ago, decided to start supporting my local team. Looking forward to the friendlies and the new season already.
