i think they were honest in all that was said and it just showed last night over the two situations that we are a club going together as one

Just to confirm Mike Newell is helping out with the management team on a volunteer basis, so our volunteer efforts stretch right through the club.

Thank you to all the OASSC members yesterday who got stuck in with the memrobillia stalls
player of the year forms, great team effort
The guys from Norway really contributed to our cause and they are all now members of the supporters club

The fund now stands at £3,200, a great start but along way to go
Well done to the Academy who held their footy day today it really had a good feel factor and the OASSC enjoyed working together with their staff

To continue our fundraising for the changing rooms we are moving into the world of markets/car boot
venues for the months of May,June and July

A good supporters meeting tonight, we need more people to attend if possible we need volunteers for the big clean up on sat/sun 20/21 june. bring a brush. all sorts of skills needed. If you have a skill we can find a job for it. Free grub and drink. painting is the biggest job along with sweeping. we are also collecting bric a brack and all items for a car boot stall email [email protected] and collection will be sorted. If you could also let nick know as soon as you can on both issues it would be greatly appreciated. we have a stall in Accrington at the food festival so check us out. It is our club lets get behind it.

A big step for the OASSC today at Santander in Accy
Our fundraising account is held at Santander Accy after two meetings they have now allowed the
OASSC to position our 10ft changing room stand inside the bank for the next 6 months to promote our fundraising to the community.
We have also been allowed to sell our memrobillia and raffle tickets in a two day period in July at the bank
to be attended by John and Jimmy and several players

Was planning on a meeting with Nick next week. My view is that paint is "centrally sourced" (unless you have trade contacts?) to ensure we get the same shade. In the past large volumes have been purchased so we may have some left to "match up" with.

Likewise we'll sort out the paint for the floors and walls in the dressing room plus the yellow safety paint that is needed.

Make sense?:)

Another interesting supporters meeting, Unfortunately we were low on Numbers again. However We are looking for people to do a sponsored bike ride from the ground to Morcambe. Just a reminder the OASSC next meeting is this thursday in the Founders Lounge at 7.15pm

Thank You to all volunteers who helped yesterday selling our merch, we were hampered a liittle bit by the late arrival of lots of away fans but still managed to take £347 plus what we took in memberships

On Tuesday from 6pm we could do with a few more volunteers please, to sell at our tables plus the 50.50

Following a meeting with Accy Outdoor Market, they have have given us a free stall to sell from on thurday 20th august 8 till 4pm
if u have any bric brac, ming vauses, paintings to donate most welcome

THE OASSC HAVE BEEN DONATED A 32" COLOUR TV SONY FLAT SCREEN WITH REMOTE COLOUR BLACK, excellent condition , good working order, can deliver if need be
