To clarify to those of you who keep asking; this vote is for the player of the season not the fan of the season.
The fan awards take a slightly different format and run year to year.

Yes, DAV. We would never have known that but for your magnificent elucidation. We would have assumed that "Player of the Season" in the title of the thread did not mean "Player of the Season".

I rather think we are aware of this, DAV. We do realise that the fan awards mysteriously include proxy votes from non-people.:confused:
