If you have provided non-reversable id ( ie owd fart status) then you are unlikely to be asked. As Joe says it is more for varying statuses of concession ie students and under 18/12. Online sales in particular are hard to identify if the sale is valid without id, hence the covering statement.

At your age you probably just have to prove you are still alive when you collect your ticket :D

Na they don't, they get the proof once and put you on a database if they have anything about them in the last 20 years.

Why ask for a junior's proof of age every year when it is obvious it goes up a year?

I promise you, Manchester United ask their fans for proof EVERY year.

Don't we already with the Flexi tickets?

(Tranmere's prices look a bit steep for Conference football)

Stanley don't have the same conditions, you only have to live more than 75mm from the ground :)

Exactly, so ours is the better option - we couldn't afford to put a minimum mileage condition into the mix

Re: Season Tickets 15/16

The Tranmere thing is 74% of the price for 74% of the games.

Not really that much of a 'concession' as it makes out to those travelling 150 miles plus, I suppose it allows most midweek games to be not paid for.

Lancashire CCC used to have a similar 'country membership', for those more than 50 miles from the ground as the crow flies, it cost significantly less but didn't limit the number of games. Most LCCC fans pick and chose days/games anyway so limiting entry was not comparable.

Mentioning Conference prices, Guisley came back from 2 down away at Chorley to win 3-2 on Sat to reach the Con Nat. Chorley had to use their subs early doors for injuries though. £10 for a final wasn't bad, and it sold out well before 2.30pm cash only.

Just to update this a little. Less 'life members' this season - so far. Change in strategy for 'free kids'. All that being said, we have seen an increase - not massive - in season ticket sales :)

There are still some to come - I hope - so all in all a result :)

:) :) :)
