Season Tickets 15/16

Anyone got a clue when next year's season ticket prices will be announced, including any details of an early bird offer?

See to recall it being April last year (though probably later on).

Just for comparison purposes , what do you guys pay for an adult season ticket to go behind the goals ? I pay £219 (£20 of which goes to youth development) although that is to stand on the terrace rather than sit.

Last seasons adult prices behind the goals if you bought in April was £200, regardless of standing or sitting. Full price was £250

Far more advanced than that :)

It would be great if there was a fans forum where they could announce it

Whilst season ticket holders are aware what prices were/are, would be wise to get the details on the fishy asap, n in press, maximum publicity is whats required in my view.

Billboards around town clearly stating £8.70 a game would help. Most people when you tell them the price agree it's not bad but the town aren't mind readers.

Season Ticket for the price of 10 games is a huge selling point IMO.

Re: Season Tickets 15/16

The prices are exactly the same as last year. The big problem is you can only pay by cash or cheque. They do not accept debit or credit cards. This is because the card companies hold the money until the end of the season in case the club goes bust and they have to reimburse the ticket holders. But is a bargain and we should be splashing it all over the media.

Another option would be instant bank transfer. Even small companies use it these days.

I used it to pay the local company that fixed my roof and it goes through instantly in most cases.

Where is all this information coming from?

Have I missed it on the website?

Will current season ticket holders be sent an email inviting them to renew?

Is there a lot of local publicity? April is almost halfway through.

Throw my 20p's worth in:

If its cheaper to pay (or part pay) in April then it would be nice to know before the end of April (it is the 13th already) or even before Stevenage game as us 'outertowners' can't just pop over in the day with work and other commitments to pay.

Baldy,
Blind leading the blind, somewhat but, if it's the same for you, below the "submit now" button you may find a section entitled "additional options". In there is a box for "attachments", through which you should be able to get to the picture file, depending where you've saved it.

They've said there are some tweeks so no point me putting it up now.

They've said the prices are £200 for April, presuming they are still doing the pay half in April and the rest before 6th August.

£8.60 per game if you get the early bird, Works out you'd need to attend 10 games next season, The first 300 get a ticket for the Mansfield game which makes it 9 games to attend next season!

I have paid for mine, it's a bargain. Just a pity you can't pay by card online. I understand the reasons why this is. I would hope the local press would do a piece on the value for money we offer, we need at least 2000 at every home game to stay viable so everyone do your best to convince friends and family to get a ticket and use it.

Got mine this morning, and the ticket for the Mansfield game which my neighbour (who is a first time season ticket holder for next season) has also got, which basically means the season ticket has cost him £180 and saves forking out for the final game of the season. Me, I am dragging a pal and son along for the day. If you haven't got one yet, make it tomorrow to buy one (or by the end of this month). The offer to pay in 2 instalments is a brilliant solution than trying to find £200 straight out.

Re: Season Tickets 15/16

Hi all- not been on here for ages!!! The season tickets are great value - works out at around 9 quid per game for full season ticket. Or you can get a flexi.

The only way we would get to 2000 average is by having pay on the day at a tenner. Problem is that financially the club have done the home work and they've set it at 20 quid to at least get some money in.

The only way to 2000 average is a top 4 team. We got 2000 plus winning the Conference, so a winning team is the age old solution.

baldy 20-04-2015 19:56

Re: Season Tickets 15/16

Everyone must have known roughly the prices of season tickets so would have been around £200 so must have been thinking of setting aside money for it!

Maybe the club could extend the early bird an extra day for people who get paid on 1st May as it will have been the first pay day since prices were announced, Would that make a difference to people buying a season ticket or not?

I'm confused, is it tenner on the gate or a winning team? I would agree with the winning team option, tenner on the gate has been tried a few times, doesn't work

Re: Season Tickets 15/16

Hi lancsdave- apologies-not too clear that !!!
I think the club want to try to get to 2000 average with the current pay on the gate charges. We'd have to be right at the top of the league for that!
The lower admission deals don't get enough in unless we are the top (so chicken and egg). But if you're only charging a tenner etc then you need 2300 or so to get the same cash in.

We just need 3-400 extra home fans to help the club add a player or two that could make a difference!!! Or JC does some magic to get team in the top 6 next year!

We got over 2000 getting promoted - so they're out there somewhere!

It's a bit of an achievement doing 10 years in the league though!

I've confused me self now lol !!!!

A good start to the new season would help attendance.... Last 4 years we have had terrible results in the first 5-10 games. Feels like we are starting with some sort of points penalty and always running to catch up.

Will be renewing my ticket, despite probably only just about attending enough games to make it worthwhile - working a lot of weekends/long days.

They have been handed out on request rather than automatically. If you want one you need to ask for one to be left at the ticket office on Saturday, or collect one beforehand.

Strangely enough not everybody wanted one, hence the request rather than automatic. Goes to prove even if you offer free admission it doesn't always work, no wonder they can't please everybody with the admission prices :D

Bit of a chicken & the egg situation - maybe if people were asked & given the choice when they signed up there'd have been a bigger uptake of them?

Not convinced the ticket is an incentive to most people, I think most will renew at the April price anyway. Personally I would have given them a 10% voucher for the club shop when you spend over £100 :D

I hope we outsell last years tickets. people are always fond of the club which is great but, we need them to come through the gates. I don't know the answer.

I have just been told the 300 freebies have gone so if some haven't collected the freebies then sales must be a fair bit over the 300.

Bit disappointed on the freebies being restricted as I would have taken one or two newbies for a taster.

Good move by the club to extend the April offer until after the last match v Mansfield. Put the word round everyone and let's get a few more sold!
ON STANLEY ON:alright:

An interesting observation on that. We processed 35 online tickets so far, 29 of those have a BB postcode.

Something to take forward when planning stuff in the future :)

It does say on that joe, "Any concession price ticket" Will need I.D. at point of collection, which is fair enough fer new season ticketers, But why should some who have had a concession ticket fer a few years need to produce I.D.?

I think that we have to cover every angle Cashy, as long as every concession has proof, there will not be an issue :)

There are people who are concessions, but it might not be obvious - 'mature students' and stuff ;) I think it is more aimed at that sort of concession than the 'elder statesman' type :D

:) :) :)
