Windass senior sounds like one of those pushy parents who bawl at the referee if junior doesn't get his own way.:dummy:

Re: Josh Windass!

it's been a pleasure to watch Josh but he will soon be 22 that gives him approx. 10 years of prime time left in the game and if he's good enough to play in higher leagues then I don't see why anyone would want to stand in his way

Re: Josh Windass!

And no-one would stand in his way, Josh signing a renewal is not us trying to bind the lad to the club (although I'm sure most would love him to stay if possible), it's guaranteeing Stanley a fair & decent price for him if/when the offers start coming in - obviously his Dad can't see that would be the decent thing to do out of respect for Stanley giving Josh his chance in the football league

Also on teletext page 390 stating Josh would make his own mind up and ignore his father's advice.

I just think he's coming across as a first choice dickhead.

John !..

Must be the saddest of days for the All Blacks and for world Rugby !.
JL must have been the best of all !..so sad too that his super fit body was brought low by his harrowing health problems !

Jonah Lomu will never be forgotten .

I agree entirely with what you say. But ... "the decent thing" ... surely it is evident that football exists in a moral void. We do not have to look too far to see evidence of that.

He was/is loved by all NZers no matter what sport we preferred.

I noticed Sean was there too. Do you not think he could be lined up as a replacement for an outgoing player? That's what I thought anyway.
