Surely one of the biggest positives is the almost unbelievable figure of around 2,200 home fans turning up yesterday. From the guesses in Mab's thread, I would say no one saw that coming! Obviously, the fact that East Lancs' big two weren't playing had an affect, but we can only hope that a few hundred of them will come back next Saturday!

Agree Wyn, that and the two additions to the squad. It can only make the lads play for their spot, nothing like a bit of pressure to bring the best out in players.

Could be another big crowd on Saturday, Stanley Trust are doing a Grassroots promotion invited all junior football teams to come to the game for free and believe they have had high interest, Not including paying parents...!

Anyone else bringing a "Newbie" to the game?...Great time to be getting people hooked!

I also think the long term signings are also a positive sign of what is happening at our glorious little club. Thanks Andy Holt for putting your money where your mouth is.

On the pitch I'm delighted with the progress for Stanley. I predicted things were looking up this year. However I can take no credit for that! It's the players and management!

The Clayton End ticket booth will be open from 4:45pm until 5:30pm after the Cambridge game for anyone wanting to buy Morecambe, York and Stevenage tickets!

Good idea by the club, Will be better than queing 3 times again on each match day, Especially if the crowds do increase!

Good idea, just a thought as not sure where the booth is situated at that end, might it create any more of a bottle neck than usual with folk trying to get off the ground & up the Crown steps?
