Utter rubbish!

Wimbledon wanted 2,000 tickets, we settled on 1,700 and they only sold 1,000. That means there were 700 tickets unsold that would have been snapped up by home fans.

Maybe we should have insisted on 2,000 tickets for the first leg, taken up the whole East Stand and then the 300 would have had a decent view.

Couldn't watch their celebrations - too painful, would've felt a bit like picking a scab :(

I can't say i'm happy that the team who finished 10 points below us in the league won promotion through the play offs. I would've preferred Plymouth to have gone up.Wimbledon's win makes you realise how half our team and many fans thought that all we had to do was just turn up for the Stevenage match, and how we completely blew our golden opportunity!!:(

We lost our way when Billy's shot was disallowed as it crossed the line. A dreadful decision which went unpunished. We never seemed to quite get back on track somehow. We had enough chances to go up automatically but we lost the killer instinct in front of goal. One striker up front never seems to quite work for us. We pass were we could have had a shot and some of our passing was dire at times. But despite all that there no teams that came to Accrington that were any better than us, They just took their chances and half chances, we should learn and there is no reason with the spine and defence we had last season we can't go up this time.

well apart from the heartbreak of the Stevenage result & play-off, we had a wonderful ride this season it was fantastic to be challenging for promotion rather than biting our finger-nails on the verge of relegation, we had a great squad this season fingers crossed for next
