Still we need to start been realistic, the club may accept the bid but it's whether the players want to play in a relegation battle, a relegation on there cv could ruin their future

But really what player is going to want to sign for a club fighting for relegation, yes there's the FA cup incentive but seriously

IMHO, that's exactly the kind of player Stanley do NOT need right now, or at any time.
I'm not sure just how many "generation snowflake" players are actually out there; there may be plenty in the Premier Academies but let them stay in the warm changing rooms showing off their latest tattoo.
If we do need any more players (we seem to have enough who've barely had a kick), we certainly want ones with a bit of grit in them.

Well said, couldn't agree more!
As for the comment about a relegation on their cv ruining their career if we did sign one of these 'snowflake players', it ain't gonna happen - Stanley's staying up, KTF :)

Changing rooms have to be heated anyway. Stanley has had its fair share of tattooed premier league academy drop downs and Nicky Hunts, some of the former have been good and helped us out.

But as Cashman says, the parent club is the one that pays the wages still not Stanley. Stanley will agree what they pay the parent club, and sometimes it can be nothing.

coley and jimmy will go and watch every available game they can. will know what they need but it,s about who is available and who wants to come either on loan or permanent. do we go for young lads or experianced players is the answer. we are still a young side and need a good older leader who,s seen it all.

Wasn't his a "non-contract" deal (is that the same as no contract?).

they keep their same wages, but often the agreement is the parent club picks up 50-80% of the bill.

its a win-win for both clubs as the parent club get to include a clause the player will be involved in the majority if not all games, in return stanley get some quality on the cheap.

the only risk is for the player, if he doesnt perform or has a bad attitude, it can damage their future.
Likewise, if they do perform, it can be a stepping stone to the first team squad or a loan to a championship club next season.

both clubs will have the right to end the loan early if the player is not performing or is required back at the parent club
