No, there is a minimum charge, but it is dictated by the home Club :)

I am aware of that, Joe. The prices are "agreed", even if the away club doesn't like them! It's a nonsense to say that they aren't agreed. ;)

If nonsense means entirely correct you may have had a point.

If Boro set prices at £10 or £100 tickets Stanley have no say in it as they are the opposite to agreed, it is a unilateral undertaking.

Agreed would mean both parties have a say, which they don't.

Re: Fa cup fourth round

In our case, Middlesbrough set the price (maybe after discussion with Stanley, maybe not), and Stanley agree. There is no alternative! QED.

Middlesbrough tickets ? Accrington Stanley

As to agreement/ or whatever between the Clubs where ticket prices are concerned.
A £10.00 concession for the Middlesborough game, reduced further to £5.00 seems not
unreasonable to a struggling pensioner.
Just got to oil the chain and pump up the tyres on the bike now, and it's a cheap do, as my York neighbour would say !

The "delay" was two-fold;

Getting confirmation that ASFC could also offer the lower prices to ST holders and getting a date from the FA so Boro could print the tickets.

Boro have quite correctly printed their 25, 000 before the ASFC's 1,500 ( initial allocation)

Really looking forward this one - got myself booked on the coach.

Not been up yon since early 90's when I went in a minibus with some rovers mates.

We started drinking at 8am when we set-off and all I can remember is getting refused to be served for being too drunk - at 11am opening time in one of the local pubs.....

Still, we had a sweep for 1st goalscorer and I pulled out 0-0 (and it was)

Cracking day out, lets hope we're celebrating come 5pm

Plenty of time to explore the delightful attractions of Middlesboro, listed by our helpful Boro fan.

Hope not, Tom Aldred was sent off for Blackpool a week last Saturday but still played in their cup replay game Barnsley on the Tuesday night?

May be a police thing with the coaches. They often stop coaches at the Exelby services on A19 outside of Teesside and escort them straight down A19/A66 and into ground car park.

So would I but how did Tom Aldred manage it?
Was an appeal still in hand on Tuesday night (not that I'm suggesting Matty's red card should be appealed, rather have him out for as brief a period as possible).

I always thought a red card in league only meant league suspension

According to the sweet FA Website, Mr.Pearson is banned for 3 games, due to end on 11th February. Presumably his tackle was considered to be violent conduct or such.
Rule appears to be next three 'competitive' matches, league or Cup.

Re: Fa cup fourth round

Asked on twitter if he was banned for the cup match, Matty P replied:

"yes"

to which he was cordially invited thus: "you should come in the away end, its going to be class!"

I'm sure that will help him get over the disappointment of missing the biggest game of the season.

Now now, we could end up with L'il Wigan if they overcome United in round 4. This on the other hand would suit me as it is a local match for me and I would get to stand in the away end :D

The 'biggest game' is not necessarily the most 'important'.
Yes, the league is important, nay vital!
But a home FA cup draw against Manchester United would be the 'biggest' game in the present clubs history, never mind the year!

monkey hanger 26-01-2017 09:01

Re: Fa cup fourth round

yes i see a cup game against manchester united is a big game only for finances and the possibility of attracting a few more regular fans after it but i won,t be able to relax until we are safe in division 2 for another season thats why i put more importance to the notts county game. for me the fa cup is just a sideshow where you can relax and not be too bothered if we loose as there are no points lost.
