I notice from the 'Terms & Conditions' that loyalty card holders will again benefit from -
'In addition, the loyalty card will enable, from time to time, the purchaser opportunities on discounts on Club merchandise and other offers'.
Judging by this season, for 'time to time' read possibly, rarely, never!

Well done to the 450 , may I suggest the club extended the offer until the last game of the season?
There may be some fans who don't get paid until next Friday

Re: Season Tickets

On Sunday 420 sold, then first thing Monday it is 450, yet there were 'over 400' sold on the previous Wednesday.

All information from the club claims they are on target to hit 1,000 - but from sales so far this seems near impossible. I can only see 700 tops.

Re: Season Tickets

I'm one who wont be renewing, but its nothing to do with faith in the club or owt like that. Unfortunately I'll be one of those whinging about the cost of walk ons!

1000 was a mightily ambitious target for a club like us, and although I really feel for AH that the target isnt being met (yet), I agree that a bit more thought could have gone into the deadline. End of the month pay day ... last home game ... Rovers relegated by teatime saturday ...

And I dont agree with extensions neither, for anyone who's gone out of their way this last few days to secure it to suddenly find they could have got it saturday anyway would be a tad miffing.

Having said that, thank god all we have to moan about are deadlines, easter eggs and thick based pukka pies.

Sorry Cashy, my mistake.... :o From Fishy earlier this year :)

What is the target number of sales for Season Tickets this year?

Appropriately named Target 1000 #Redvolution the aim is to crack the 1000 Season Ticket sales barrier!

Falling short by just 175 in Season 2016/17, the Club need you ‘the supporter’ more than ever as we progress both on and off the field of play – We need you to be in the Target 1000 #Redvolution club

I make that 825 last season :)

Anybody know if anything has been done about advertising kids season tickets in schools?

£23 is an absolute bargain and of course the future of our club, the sooner we can get more kids talking about Stanley as their first team the better for club!

Chewbacca 25-04-2017 19:44

Re: Season Tickets

I'm not sure if the u12 at £0.00 were included in that last year's sales figure, however cheap they are at £23 they will struggle to sell more than last season with the price rises all round on early birds, which I expect make up the majority.

I got mine after a lot of messing about, not sure that everyone would do he same. I see they have extended the deadline by one hour.

AccyMad 26-04-2017 09:42

Re: Season Tickets

I agree it would have been good to make the closing date for the early bird offer the same date as our last home game but I don't think there should need to be an extension this year, they've been on sale from 6th March which is a lot longer period of time than we've had previously.

Now extended to 6pm today - this should've been announced at same time as the later opening hours this week, not really fair to tag an extra day on after some will have rushed to get up before Friday's 'deadline'

I tend to agree with you AccyMad but if it sells more Season Tickets then it can only be a good thing, I suppose. It might encourage a few more to come to the match today to get their 'late' order in too?

ON STANLEY ON everyone with your Early Bird Season Tickets ordered!

I might be being really thick, but I'm getting the impression from this "should be easier to buy em" thing I keep hearing that the people of Accy don't own a telephone? I phoned up. It took two mins to purchase two tickets.
Paid £3 but isn't that better than a bus fare, petrol, walk to the ground, queue etc for a once a year Thing when the tickets are so (relatively) cheap anyway? I'll get that money back by not having a crap pie at half time.

Chewbacca 29-04-2017 12:55

Re: Season Tickets

As Valairian said a week or so ago he would be amazed if teh deadline wasn't extended, bit very disingenuous by the club.

Of course they don't want a rush in an hour after the game so pretend the deadline is the day before, however maybe not the best way to treat fans. I wonder how many 'applications' got turned down, it really is in the dark ages asking fans to re-apply every season as though they can pick and chose.

Anyway wonder how many pillocks from Luton will be looking for trouble in town after the game this time?

Re: Season Tickets

It is nice to hear there has been an increase in early season ticket take up. Lets hope we can up the average attendance at home games next season. We need some strong pre season friendlies so we hit the ground running next season. We can do it next season and loud support is a 12th man. we need the 12th man to counteract the effect of poor referees.

Thing is Lord D they are NOT relatively cheap. If I want a season ticket for the nearest club to where I live (Wigan Athletic) I would not be paying more than £199 even after the early bird promotion. No doubt the likes of Blackburn and Bolton's prices will be near abouts the same price. I know they get a lot more support, but this is where I believe ASFC are shooting themselves in the foot. Now far be it for me to go and buy one of these other clubs season tickets because I wouldn't, my team is ASFC through and through. Born and Bred and followed the team pre '63. Came back to the team in the mid 80's when i left the army and returned home. Glad to have a team to support again and all hail Andy Holt and others who have put there money where there mouths are and bought into the Stanley dream. I just wish others would follow suit instead of supporting those teams either side of Accy or worse still, follow the Mancs!

What other clubs charge is totally irrelevant a Stanley supporter isnt going to buy a ticket at Wigan just because its a few quid cheaper is he ?

What they could do though is if youve got at ST at another club in the area and want a second one at Stanley to get your footy fix in the alternative week then offer a discount on the Stanley one based on the price they paid at the other club .

Absolutely never!

We are nobody's 2nd team. From a personal point of view I'd ban any other scarf or shirt from entering the ground, except for the away team. I'm not in charge of counting the quids but I'd rather do wi'out the cash than have interlopers diluting the atmosphere. Since the launch of the season tickets for the upcoming season, we are 77% of the way towards our #Target1000 and work is ongoing behind the scenes as we continue to push towards the aim. I can also confirm we are in discussions to be able to offer season tickets on a pay monthly plan for next season – an update will follow in due course.

Chrisr 14-06-2017 21:38

Re: Season Tickets

77% =770. Why is only now that the club are going to look at paying for season tickets monthly from next season??? This issue along with other options has been discussed on here several times. This is where the club lags behind, Every combination of ticket availability and pricing should be used to encourage people into the ground. We seem to put barriers up. We can do better and should do better. The flexi ticket is often mentioned but for some strange reason is shyed away from. A clearer sign from the club to fans that we actually want you to come is missing.

I suggest you re-read my post ferret man. Nowhere did I say I would not come back and support Stanley. I said "whilst certain people remain at the club they would not come back". I fully intend to get to as many matches as i can next season, dependent on work commitments. I AM a fully committed Stanley supporter and member (or will be again when I renew) of the OASSC.

luckily we haven,t got those at stanley. leyton orient are far from the only club where those at the top upset the fan base. blackpool, coventry come to mind without thinking too hard. we don,t agree with everything that happens at the crown but pales into insignificance compared to these clubs.

Why would anybody on an non official fans forum know if the Club are going to issue flexi tickets??

Whilst I have a connection at the Club; I only frequent this board as a service to us all; because without a Moderator this section would be closed. When the previous lady stood down; there were no applicants to replace her.

I don't would know the answer to your question and nobody else does on here.

Can I suggest you either ring the club ( rules prevent me from posting any phone numbers) or e-mail [email protected]

As fans we all know we need a minimum home support of at least 2000. If we can manage that we will hold our own at the moment. would hope that every option of buying any type of ticket to get people through the gate will be used. We need people home and away fans to help us survive. I wonder what happened to the early bird draw for those who got the early bird tickets? unless the draw is on the same night as the season ticket release. If anybody knows.

I've upgraded this season from a loyalty card to a full season ticket.
I've also managed to convert a friend, who'd never seen a Stanley game before last season, into a fully paid-up Stanley fanatic & new season ticket holder.
We've all despaired about the apparent apathy that exists within the town & I think the club have tried their best to increase gates with little effect.
I can think of only three other things that will guarantee increased attendance.
They are;
SUCCESS! SUCCESS! SUCCESS!

[QUOTE=Lord Stiffupperlip;1198056]I've upgraded this season from a loyalty card to a full season ticket.
that,s why the loyalty card issue should be pushed even more than season tickets. no new fan is going out and buy a season ticket. you start going to certain games, get the bug and go to more with a loyalty card then onto a season ticket.

Stanley's crowds went up when they were possibly going out of business in 2009. When Man City got relegated to the 3rd tier in 1998 the crowds went up slightly too. Siege mentality and all that, however it is not sustainable long term without some success.
