Southport on July 29th.

Stanley will play Championship side Preston North End in a pre-season friendly.
The Reds will entertain Simon Grayson’s side on 19th July ko 7-30pm.

It Is always good to get some decent pre season friendlies in before the season starts. We have some strong opposition so far. I think that is what let us down last season.

don,t think we started that badly last season especially in the league cup. it was november and december that was dire.

Don't think prices have been released yet, hope they won't be more than a tenner but we'll have to wait & see . . . . .

If the aim is to try and increase the fan base, would be wise to make the friendlies attractively priced imho.

Would expect the usual Blackburn and burnely fixtures to be unveiled by now

Neither BRFC or BFC had any availability that worked for both Clubs.

"Invites" have been sent to other high profile friendly clubs; we hope to get positive news "soon" but with some decision makers on annual leave it's a slow process:(
