It Is always good to get some decent pre season friendlies in before the season starts. We have some strong opposition so far. I think that is what let us down last season.

"Invites" have been sent to other high profile friendly clubs; we hope to get positive news "soon" but with some decision makers on annual leave it's a slow process:(

Just contacted the club to get a 4 game ticket deal as advertised and tickets are on sale at the club during office hours. Only problem is they are not available yet as they have not been printed. How bad is that for organisation. The girl on the phone was helpful as she could possibly be. This is where we as a club let ourselves down so often, This is basic stuff. It is embarrassing and annoying. I wonder how many people will take the trouble to call in and simply not come back.

My simple point was that it had been advertised on the club site as available and they were not. I have been contacted by the club who had their reasons which I fully accept. It was a misjudgement plain and simple. I was a little hasty in my criticism perhaps. Although it is an annoyance. However this is much overshadowed by the prospect of one of the best pre season build ups I can recall.

Having just purchased my tickets for the 4 home friendlies, I can't help but feel the club should be doing more to advertise the amazing value of this offer.
As an old duffer, the £15 cost equates to only £3.75 per game, and this to watch 2 premier league & 1 Championship club.
Surely this bargain should be plastered all over Accrington, including the 'fixture' advertising boards on Eastgate & Whalley Rd?
It seems to have disappeared off the radar on the fishy site & you now have to search 'friendlies' to get any info etc.
It's OK for us regular forum members who are 'in-the-know', but there's a big local customer pool who must be oblivious to the excitement that awaits them, and all for a pittance.
