I will weigh the odds up after the friendlies, my usual tactic.

Dav - you held the club together through a difficult season and have left your post with things in good health. We'll done.

Can't offer an opinion on how well we will do until after a couple of league games.

Anyone backing Stanley to win the league?

Well said old chap!
Can't wait for the season to start then perhaps we can get back to footballing matters & forget some of the nasty & pointless bile currently being posted on other threads.

Putting twenty on Stanley to win the league, whatever the odds may be, as I'm brimming with confidence!

hope we don,t have a roller coaster like last season. at christmas we looked to be heading for the conference quicker than leyton orient then by april we,d an outside chance of the play offs. not good for my old nerves.

I was keeping quiet on this, but promotion is realistic.
Once we settled in and the loaners blossomed we looked decent last year.
Do fancy Mansfield tho, they have bought quality.
If we get off to a reasonable start, anything could happen

They've also bought in quantity, might take time for players to settle and with all the new incomings there may be u rest for the players not playing

Is Stanley's 1-11 one of the best in the league?

I am not sure the squad is, but the starting 11 ?

Normally agree with you F19 but ask Notts County fans how their season went when they bought in 15 or so new players and had a nightmare...On paper your think they'd be up there!

First season in a very long time we have a big core that won't need time to bed in...Just need Rodak back now!

Also ask Orient fans about bringing in vast amounts of players
