It seems to me that this new 3-4-3 system is Coleys plan B, but with only 3 recognised centre backs (plus Thorniley maybe) Sykes is needed as cover?

I think the 343 exposes a limited squad to be fair

Kevin did a really good interview recently when he talked about wanting leaders on the pitch in all positions and to make permanent signings to fit his system. He's been very active in the market.
If he accepted that he can't make Ross's move permanent then maybe this is best all round.
Coleman had him on he bench because that's where he thought he deserved to be and I agree.
If he goes he needs to go to a league club and for a fee.

no way he could come back from playing conference north football and straight into the side at exeter after the way the defence played against wycombe. hope he gets a chance to start at lincoln next tuesday.
