Re: Carlisle

Some of our defenders have been very poor of late, for me time to get them out the team and try people who only seem to sit on the bench.they sure can't be any worse?

I couldn't go yesterday but based on the first half of Saturday's game I'd say it was the other way round - Aaron having to come right out a couple of times as he did showed like he had little confidence in the defenders in front of him. Hughes was having a nightmare & the others weren't much better.
No way would I change keepers at this point, but then I'm not in charge

I agree with that, like i thought our defence has been virtually non existent of late. i cant blame the keeper fer there lack of nouce.

Re: Carlisle

In defence The Don has remained outstanding. Big Ben had a hard time against their very tricky and outstanding no 9 but did well enough and had a good game v Crawley, but been benched twice.
Chappers was a bit all over the place v Carlisle.
Formations have changed, the other fullback varied.
More stability is needed there but that's solveable by JC.

We are not creating chances. Kee and Jackson are good enough, Wilks lively enough....but not enough drive from central midfield. I think we all know that.

One good midfielder coming in might make all the difference. But where's that coming from?

Play players in their right positions would help matters imho.

Re: Carlisle

Players should not be left on the bench as this is just wasteful. A rotation system and different tactics are needed desperately. we still play on the whinneyhill side, Nobody looks up and spreads the ball wide. We need a big central midfielder that can spread the game. Our keeper situation is critical. Chapmans nonsense against crawley was almost embarrassing. I have not seen the other keeper in action to compare but reports were that he was not anything special. This is a case of priorities. Keeper and central attacking midfielder. A rotation system to keep the players fresh.

Watched Stryjek at Wigan thought he looked quite handy spotting early runners and making quick no nonsense distribution.

Lord D
et's agree to disagree. Donacien has not been outstanding.
Along with every other defender who has played that's on the books.

To me the dons played well in the main, "In his correct position" poor when played on the opposite side of the field.

I too was at that match and I agree, against what was essentially a youth team he looked impressive. Can he cut the mustard against League Two opposition though?
