Personally, I don't think it's worth the risk changing keeper just based on one game - of course we don't see how he is in training so if our dynamic duo think he's worth a punt it may happen but I honestly don't think that Aaron has done that much wrong to warrant it, just my opinion of course

Friend of mine in that bastion of superlative football, namely Sunderland, assures me that Max is probably the best Goalkeeper on their books, and was surprised when they allowed his loan move to The Wham.

I would suggest, from what little time he has had to impress we fans, that the time has come for him to start a League match.

I agree with most that the defensive problems currently besetting the team rest in front of our Goalkeeper, and it pains me to suggest that Mark Hughes is perhaps not as fast to react to situations as he used to be !.

As to our midfield ?... what midfield do I hear you say ?... they have lost control of their territory on a regular basis defensively, and failed to offer any threat of note offensively.

Grimsby, like Carlisle, will have sussed all this out, and will no doubt be setting their stall out
accordingly. A point there will be a bonus methinks !.

Sorry for these negative thoughts but I want to see a BETTER Accrington Stanley !.

ON STANLEY...ON TO GREATER THINGS !!.

The way our defence has been lately,to me wont give "ANY" keeper much confidence.

No coincidence to me that Conneely's injury has come at a time when we seem to have started to struggle. He's never going to "shine" but the work he gets through is privotal when he's 100%.
We need a centre mid combative type on loan. We also need a creative mid alongside - left or right - who can see a pass and be prepared to spread the play in one move rather than the three or four it takes at the moment.
