Couldn't agree more, Stanley are in the best position for promotion and it would take a disaster to not be in league one next year but those who are able still have to cheer them on right through to the glorious end. The guesstimates are just for fun for those who like to work figures. ON STANLEY ON LADS.

for those who are good at football history has any other club cocked it up from the same position as we are in at the moment.

6 straight defeats around this stage in the season nearly did for Rovers in 92.
From nailed on Champions to almost missing out on the play-offs.

I sincerely hope that happens to them this year, REALLY need them to stay put!

How ironic that, should Stanley achieve promotion this year, it's looking unlikely that near neighbours Blackburn, Wigan, Bury & Rochdale will be there to meet us. :(
Still, the mere thought of Sunderland, Birmingham or possibly Barnsley, visiting the Wham next year together with Bradford City & Blackpool?
Perhaps we can afford to demolish the old cowshed after our last home game against Lincoln City?
Come to think of it, if we beat em, maybe those imps will do the job for nowt!

Lost top spot as I said and also lost money which you denied- I see you are not a football person if you did not know that was coming.

Maybe try netball.

Easter as always will be crucial 6 points heaven but I would take 4 then points from our games in hand and we will be almost home.

Very pedantic, we are joint top 2nd only goal difference,:rolleyes:plus we need only 1 pt from 2 games only to go above Luton.

Would be nice if Chesterfield can do a Port Vale on County this afternoon, or even better a Forest Green & put a bit more daylight between us & fourth place
